YouTube is among the most crucial social media platforms in the education sector. Dysphagia has gained attention recently along with the increased risk of morbidity and mortality. There has been no research on YouTube utilization and level of knowledge about the dysphagia diet. This study aimed to determine the association between the utilization of YouTube and the level of knowledge about dysphagia diet among undergraduate Dietetics students. This study was conducted using a Google Forms questionnaire and distributed through WhatsApp, Telegram, and e-mail. Of 231 respondents, 39% reported better satisfaction with YouTube, 95.3% of the respondents watched 1-5 videos daily and 95.0% used YouTube for educational purposes. Meanwhile, 95.2% of the respondents showed a high level of knowledge about dysphagia diets. The results showed that time spent on YouTube (music, talk, and others), the number of watched videos daily, and usage of YouTube were not associated with the level of knowledge about dysphagia diet. In conclusion, the students are knowledgeable regarding dysphagia diets which shows that they are competent to perform the role of a dietitian. These students should be essential in providing scientific evidence-based information on YouTube for educational purposes in the healthcare sector.
