You must first register as an Author at https://apjys.iyres.gov.my/author-registration/ (Click to register) before you proceed to the submission site. Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system, https://apjys.iyres.gov.my/paper-submission-form/ (Click to submit) in MS Word format (.doc or docx) and must be attached with Cover Letter. Please note that from 1^st November 2021, only manuscripts submitted via the online submission system will be taken under consideration. All manuscripts must be prepared and submitted according to the journal’s guidelines. Failure to comply will result in the manuscript being unsubmitted.

TOPIC / SCOPE:                                                                                                                                                      APJYS’ main focus is Youth Studies. The journal invites papers that define youth in a manner consistent with a predominantly Asian social construction, which typically ranges from early adolescence to young adults in their 30s. The journal is interested in the social, contextual, and political factors that influence healthy and harmful youth development. Manuscripts that do not discuss research/ issues/ works in Youth Studies within the Asian context or relate to Youth Studies in the Asian context will not be considered.

THE NUMBER OF AUTHORS:                                                                                                                                      The number of authors for manuscripts that are submitted to this journal SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIVE (5). Please note that manuscripts with more than five(5) authors will be rejected upon submission.

WRITING STYLES:                                                                                                                                                              The manuscript MUST FOLLOW current American Psychological Association (APA) style guidelines (https://apastyle.apa.org/). Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements will not be sent for review.

The journal only allows ONE SUBMISSION PER AUTHOR at any one time. If another manuscript is submitted when there is already one in the system, the second manuscript will be accepted for the next publication.
